We’re officially in 2017. This means it is important to market like 2017. Here is a list of 12 blogs that I already follow and that help me to keep my marketing game sharp.

One of the most followed blog on marketing in the world. Hubspot is a great resource on sales, content, marketing, and SEO.

#2 – Forbes

This one is a no-brainer. The marketing section of the world-class publication Forbes. Great blog to follow for marketing in general.

#3 – The Globe and Mail

I love this one because it is much more technical. Lots of blogs write articles with the goal of generating more shares, but The Globe and Mail really focuses on great content and very novel articles. Great publication to follow for trends and news in the industry.

#4 – The American Marketing Association

The American Marketing Association is a professional association of marketers in the United States. They release great information and insights on a regular basis on their website. Very trustable source of information.

#5 – Seth Godin

The man, the legend. I follow Seth since my beginnings in marketing and it has always been a major inspiration. Since 2002, Seth blogs daily on marketing, life, and entrepreneurship. His views and way of writing make him unique.

#6 – Neil Patel

If you’re looking to step your game up in the area of SEO and content, Neil Patel is the man to follow. His name needs no introduction.

#7 – Marketing Land

With around 3 to 10 articles published every day and many contributors, Marketing Land is a real factory for marketing information.

#8 – Convince and Convert

Great publication that mostly focuses on content and digital marketing. Led by author Jay Baer, the blog also features a very instructive podcast.

#9 – Branding Strategy Insider

What I like about this blog is that it really focuses on brand building. As I always say, marketing works on a shorter timeline, while branding works on the longer vision. Great blog to follow if you’re looking to build a major brand.
